Manufactured Recipes

Some of these crafts are very complex and you may not know where to find them. But, knowing I'm a MMP (Mobile Minecraft Player) I have no idea what some of these items are.

Glowstone	Glowstone Dust		Used to create brighter light than torches. Melts snow/ice and can be used underwater. If mined again, it turns back into Glowstone dust.
Wool	String		Used as a building material and can be colored with dyes.
TNT	Gunpowder + Sand		Used to cause explosions.
WoodSlabs	Wooden Planks	6	Used for making long staircases. Two slabs placed on top of each other will create a normal-sized double slab block.
StoneSlabs	Stone, Sandstone,Cobblestone, Bricks,Stone Brick, Nether Brick, Block of Quartz	6	Used for making long staircases. Two slabs placed on top of each other will create a normal-sized double slab block.
WoodStairs	Wooden Planks	4	Used for compact staircases.
StoneStairs	Cobblestone, Bricks,Stone Brick, Nether Brick, Sandstone,Block of Quartz	4	Used for compact staircases.
Snow Block	Snowballs		Used as a building material, or as compact storage for Snowballs. Also may be used forSnow Golems.
Clay Block	Clay		Used as a building material, or as compact storage for Clay Balls.
Bricks	Brick		Used as a building material.
Stone Brick	Stone	4	Used as a building material. To obtain stone,smelt cobblestone or utilize Silk Touchenchantment on a pickaxe when mining stone.
Nether Brick	Nether Brick (item)		Used as a building material.
Bookshelf	Wooden Planks +Books		Used as decoration, or to give an Enchantment Table knowledge.
Sandstone	Sand		Used as a building material. Is not influenced by gravity like normal Sand.
Smooth Sandstone	Sandstone (Any Type)	4	Decorative block.
Chiseled Sandstone	Sandstone Slab		Decorative block.
Block of Quartz	Nether Quartz		Decorative block.
Pillar Quartz Block	Block of Quartz	2	Decorative Block.
Chiseled Quartz Block	Quartz Slab		Decorative block.
Jack 'o' Lantern	Pumpkin + Torch		Used to create brighter light than torches. Melts snow/ice and can be used underwater.
Ender Chest	Obsidian + Eye of Ender		Contents of the chest are put into all Ender Chests created, but the contents are localised to the player in SMP.
Anvil	Block of Iron + Iron Ingot		Used to repair and rename items and blocks, and are affected by gravity.
Beacon	Nether Star + Glass+ Obsidian		Used to provide both a unique landmark, and selected buffs to all players in the vicinity
